It has been revealed that the defendant, Vishal Agarwal, possessed an unlicensed five-star hotel in Mahabaleshwar on the land that was rented by the government to Parsis for a period of 30 years.

The administration has given another jolt to Vishal Agarwal, the accused in the Kalyaninagar hit-and-run case. The district administration has closed the bar at Agrawal’s unauthorized hotel in Mahabaleshwar. The complainant Abhay Havaldar informed the district administration about the illegally operated bar in the hotel and the district administration took action by closing the bar. 

As per the information, MPG Club, which was constructed on a government property in Maharashtra was given to a Parsi trust for a 30 years lease. The Parsi Gymkhana Trust was granted ownership of City Survey No. 233 in Mahabaleshwar, a government property, on a 30-year lease. However, the lease was renewed. In 2016, Surendra Kumar Agrawal and Usha Surendra Kumar Agrawal, who are non-Parsis, were included in the board of trustees of Parsi Gymkhana Trust. After four years in 2020, the names of a few Parsis were removed from the board of trustees and the names of Agarwal’s family were included.      

It is worthy to note that in the hit-and-run case, Vishal Agarwal and Surendra Kumar Agarwal attempted to save the kid.
