Pune: SNBP Dominates Under-17 sections, Vidya Valley, Vibgyor International Top With Ease At 3rd SNBP Inter-School District Sports Championship
PUNE, 3 July 2024: Vidya Valley School, Balewadi, Vibgyor International School, Pimple Saudagar and S.N.B.P School, Morwadi ‘D’ bagged their respective age-groups and top in the football event in the 3rd SNBP Inter-School District Sports Championship 2023-24, at the SNBP International School, Chikhali.
In the Under-10 section, Vidya Valley School, Balewadi had it easy against S.N.B.P, Rahatani by posting a SNBP dominate Under-17 sections4-0 win. A double-strike by Adiraj Chandere and a goal each by Cyrus Jeejeebhoy and Ekansh Ojha rounded off the tally for the winners. The third-place was claimed by The Academy School who got the better of S.N.B.P, Chikali 2-0.
Later in the Under-14 section, Vibgyor International School, Pimple Saudagar topped against S.B Patil School 3-1. Rauneet Menon (3 goals for Vibgyor and a goal by Anish Raut helped SB Patil cut the margin. In an all S.N.B.P School third-place match. The Morwadi wing of the scool led by Swaroop Thigale downed the Chikhali ‘A’ branch
Meanwhile, the Under-17 titles were claimed by SNBP, Morewadi and Chikali respectively. The Morewadi Branch beat the Ranatani wing 2-0 for the boy’s title, while the Chikali branch got the better of Rahatani branch 3-2.
