Pune: Woman mistreated and abused while she was called to settle a dispute between friends

The complainant works at a government office on Senapati Bapat Road and was abused by her friend Prajyot and Ashwin. The accused called her to the parking lot and followed her to his office, where they abused and threatened her.

In a recent incident, a woman was allegedly mistreated, abused and threatened when she went to settle a dispute between two friends. The incident occurred between March 11 and May 22 in the parking lot of a government building on Senapati Bapat Road and Deep Bungalow Chowk. A complaint has been lodged with the Chaturshringi police station against three accused identified as Pratik Balkrishna Kakade (30), Prajyot Balkrishna Kakade (32), res. Balaji Apartments, Navi Sangvi, and Ashwin Pawar (29). They have been booked for rape and other charges.

As per the information received from police officials, the victim works at a government office on Senapati Bapat Road. The victim and the accused had some disputes between them and hence Ashwin (accused)  asked the victim to come to the parking lot of her office building where they abused and threatened her. So she left for her office and she was chased again and stopped at Deep Bungalow Chowk, threatened and abused her. After that Prateek called the plaintiff again to settle the dispute and they once again abused her. 

As per the complaint Prajyot and Ashwin misbehaved with the plaintiff. Sub-Inspector of Police Shyamal Patil is conducting further investigation.
