Pop icon Rihanna graced the Ambani pre-wedding festivities with a sensational live performance, setting the stage ablaze with her greatest hits, including ‘Work,’ ‘Diamonds,’ and ‘Pour It Up.’ Following the star-studded event in Jamnagar, Gujarat, Rihanna made a surprise appearance on an Instagram Live session hosted by her best friend, Melissa Forde.
During the Instagram Live session, conducted on the way to the Jamnagar airport after the performance, Rihanna shared her overwhelming experience in India and expressed her reluctance to leave.
With her face covered, she asked in amazement, “Is this live for real?” She conveyed her gratitude, stating, “I had the best time in India. I only have two days. The only reason I am leaving India is because my kids are (unclear audio). I have to come back.”
The pre-wedding celebrations, spanning three extravagant days, have attracted a plethora of luminaries, including top Bollywood stars, cricketers, sports personalities, global industrialists, and heads of states. Notable attendees include Meta founder Mark Zuckerberg and Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates. Anant Ambani, the younger son of Mukesh Ambani, Chairman and Managing Director of Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL), and Radhika Merchant, the daughter of Viren Merchant, CEO of Encore Healthcare, are the soon-to-be-wed couple.
The grand pre-wedding bash, held at a residential township near RIL’s petroleum refinery in proximity to Jamnagar city, commenced on Friday. Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, who got engaged in January 2023, are all set to tie the knot in a celebration that brings together opulence, glamour, and high-profile guests.
