Mumbai : A shocking incident has emerged from Mumbai as Rajiv Shukla, a visiting lawyer from Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, discovered a dead mouse and some cockroaches in a vegetarian meal parcel he ordered from Barbeque Nation. Due to food poisoning, he was admitted to BMC’s BYL Nair Hospital for treatment, where he underwent medical care for more than three days.

His post on social media platforms garnered a lot of sympathy to the lawyer as well as the brand received a flak from the netizens.

Rajiv Shukla faced the ordeal of food poisoning as unfortunately, he had consumed a significant portion of the contaminated food, including the mouse and insects, before discovering the issue. Shukla claimed that the Nagpada Police Station was not registering an FIR against Barbeque Nation.

To bring attention to his distress, he tagged PM Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Piyush Goyal, CM Eknath Shinde, Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis, and others in his social media posts.

The severity of Shukla’s condition required him to be admitted to BMC’s BYL Nair Hospital for more than three days. Food poisoning symptoms prompted immediate medical attention to ensure his well-being.
