Sushmita Sen, who confirmed last year that she survived a massive heart attack, has never previously mentioned the specific date of the incident. The heart attack occurred while she was filming for her Disney+ Hotstar show, Aarya, in Jaipur. She shared her experience was both cathartic and transformative: “It was like reel and real life finally coming to a beautiful cathartic unison. As dark as that sounds, I think it was a whole new beginning for me.”

Reflecting on the incident, Sen shared valuable insights she gained: “My takeaway is this: whatever the reason, we all have a deadline. But the fact that day on the 24th of February wasn’t my day means there is a lot left to be done. It was a massive heart attack, and still, there was no damage by God’s grace. I am really, very lucky.”
