Rohit Sharma-led T20 World Cup heroes hopped on a special Air India flight from Barbados on Tuesday to head back to India. With the World Champions ready to bring the T20 World Cup home, their flight has become the most watched flight on the flightradar website.

The Air India flight with call sign AIC24WC is finally bringing back our Indian heroes who got stuck in Barbados because of hurricane Beryl. It must be such a relief for everyone to see them coming home safely after all the challenges they faced.

The significance behind its call sign, AIC for Air India Chartered and 24WC representing T20 World Cup 2024, is truly fitting for the Indian team’s victory in the tournament. It adds an extra special touch to their journey back home as champions!

The flight is expected to land at Delhi airport on 4th July at 6 am. Rajya Sabha MP and BCCI vice-president Rajeev Shukla shared that Team India, the T20 World Cup winners, have departed from Barbados on a special Air India flight arranged by the BCCI. It’s wonderful that the Indian journalists who were stuck in Barbados are also returning on the same flight.

They will touch down at Delhi airport at 6 am, as mentioned by Shukla. After that, they have a meeting scheduled with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at 11 am at the Prime Minister’s residence. It’s going to be an exciting and eventful day for the T20 World Cup champions.

They are set to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi at 11 am at the Prime Minister’s residence. It’s going to be a memorable and prestigious moment for the team to meet with the Prime Minister after their incredible T20 World Cup victory.

After meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, they will fly to Mumbai. There will be a grand roadshow from Nariman Point, and later, the players will be honored. The media report mentioned a 1 km bus parade to the iconic Wankhede Stadium from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Airport. It’s going to be a memorable moment when the Indian skipper hands over the T20 World Cup trophy to BCCI secretary Jay Shah. What a celebration it’s going to be!
