Pune, May 22: On the Yashwantrao Chavan Mumbai-Pune Expressway, the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) will conduct technical inspections and repairs of gantries under the Highway Traffic Management System on May 23, 2024 at km 6.000 on the Pune Mumbai route. All vehicle owners on the Pune Mumbai route are advised to use alternative routes.

On May 23, 2024  from 12:00 Noon to 1:00 PM, traffic on the Pune Mumbai route will be completely halted. During this period, all vehicles on the expressway will be diverted towards Pune via National Highway 48 through Shedung and Khopoli. Additionally, on May 23, from 12 Noon to 1 PM, traffic will be entirely stopped, and all vehicles on the expressway will be redirected towards Pune via National Highway 48.

All vehicles on Pune Mumbai route will be diverted to Khopoli exit at KM 39.800 via National Highway 48 Old Pune Mumbai Highway via Khopoli city to Shedung Toll Naka to Mumbai.

On the Pune Mumbai route all heavy vehicles will be diverted to Khalapur toll naka, last lane to Khalapur exit KM 32.500 will be diverted to National Highway 48 Old Pune Mumbai Highway to Shedung toll naka to Mumbai.

Vehicles will also be diverted towards Panvel and then to Mumbai route

In this regard, drivers, passengers should plan their travel accordingly. If drivers encounter any issues during this period on the expressway, they can contact the Mumbai-Pune Expressway control room at 9822498224 or the Highway Police Department at 9833498334, as stated by the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation.
