Traffic Changes Announced For Sant Tukaram Maharaj And Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj Palkhi In Pune

The palanquin of Sant Tukaram Maharaj will depart from Dehu on Friday and the palanquin of Sri Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj will depart from Alandi on Saturday (June 29) for Ashadhi Wari Both palanquins will then head towards Pune on June 30th.

Traffic changes will be effective on the Dehu Alandi route along with the city due to the Palkhi ceremony of Sant Tukaram Maharaj and Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj. As per information, the palanquins of Sant Tukaram Maharaj and Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj will leave Dehu and Alandi on June 28 and 29 respectively. The changes in traffic plan will be effective from June 25 to June 30. A parking lot has been arranged in Dehu and Alandi for vehicles of the devotees coming for the departure ceremony.

The first stop of Tukobaraya’s palanquin is at Inamdar Wada in Dehu and on Saturday (June 29) the event will arrive at Vitthal Mandir in Akurdi. Also, the first stop of Mauli’s palanquin will be at Gandhi Wada in Alandi. After that, both these palanquins will go towards Pune on Sunday (June 30).

Traffic changes in Alandi:

This change will be in effect from Tuesday, June 25 to 30 till 9 pm or until the traffic is smooth.

• Chimbli to Alandi road will remain closed and vehicles coming to Alandi from Chimbli Phata Chowk, Chakan will be diverted via Jai Ganesh Empire Chowk, Alankapuram Chowk and Bhosari Chowk-Magazine Chowk. 
• Vehicles on the Chakan to Alandi route will go via Jai Ganesh Empire Chowk, Alankapuram Chowk, Bhosari Chowk-Magazine Chowk. Vehicles on Wadgaon Ghenand to Alandi route will go via Chakan-Wadgaon Ghenand Shel Pimpalgaon via Koyali Kaman, Koyali-Markalgaon. 
• Vehicles on the Markal to Alandi route will go from Markal via Dhanore Phata to Charholi Phata – Magazine Chowk, Alankapuram Chowk. 
• Vehicles on the Bharat Mata Chowk to Alandi route will go via Jai Ganesh Empire Chowk, Alankapuram Chowk, Bhosari Chowk- Magazine Chowk, Moshi-Chakan-Shikrapur.
• Vehicles on the Moshi-Alandi route will go via Jai Ganesh Empire Chowk, Alankapuram Chowk, Bhosari Chowk-Magazine Chowk, and Moshi-Chakan-Shikrapur. 
• Vehicles on the Vishrantwadi to Alandi route and vehicles coming from Pune-Dighi Magazine Chowk to Alandi will go via Shel Pimpalgaon via Bhosari-Moshi-Chakan. 
• Alankapuram-Jai Ganesh will pass through Empire Chowk. 
• All types of vehicles coming towards Alandi will be prohibited from going past Charholi Phata Chowk, Dudulgaon Jakat Naka, Kelgaon Chowk, Bapdev Chowk, Indrayani Hospital, Vishrantwadi, Dhanori Fata / PCS Chowk. 

Dehu traffic changes:

• The traffic on the Mumbai-Pune highway from Dehu Kaman to Dehugaon will be closed, vehicles on this route will go through Bhakti-Shakti Chowk to Triveninagar to Talwade Gavthan to Canbe Chowk to Khandelwal Chowk Dehugaon. 
• Chakan to Kanbe Chowk and Talwade Gavthan Chowk to Kanbe Chowk to Mahindra Circle will remain closed. Vehicles on this route will go to their destination via Bharat Mata Chowk, Nashik Highway in Moshi.
• The route from Dehuphata to Dehugaon on the Talegaon-Chakan road will remain closed and the vehicles on this route will go through HP Chowk. 
• The road from Dehu Arch to Chouda Talakari Arch to Bhairavanath Chowk will be closed for all types of vehicles. Access to all types of vehicles will be closed from Khandelwal Chowk to Dehu Main Arch to Parandwal Chowk, Khandelwal Chowk to Dehu Main Arch to Parandwal Chowk. 
• On the Mumbai-Pune highway, all types of vehicles going to Pune via Central Chowk Dehu Road to Bhakti Shakti will be closed, all vehicles on this route will go via Central Chowk-Mamurdi-Kivle-Bhumkar Chowk – Dange Chowk.

Arrangement of parking lots in Alandi :

Parking has been reserved on 3 acres of land on the south of Talekar Patil Chowk (South) on Alandi-Dehu Road, 1 acre on the Northside, 10 gunthas near Gyanvilas College Dudulgaon Zakat Naka, 4.5 acres of land at Bopdev Chowk, 9 acres in front of Indrayani Hospital (Chakan Road), 25 acres of land on Vishrantwadi Vadgaon Road and one acre of land in front of Muktai Mangal Office have been chosen for traffic arrangements.

Parking lot in Dehugaon

Parking arrangements have been made at Gayran Ground in Dehugaon, COD Ground (near Radha Krishna Hall) and Mauli Vazankata neighbourhood ground at Khandelwal Chowk.
