The sorrowful cries of Anis’s mother pierce through the hearts of all who hear them. A devastating tragedy has shattered the lives of two families. The immediate bail granted to the accused has only fueled the anger and anguish in their hearts.

“Give me back my son… What did my son do wrong? Even though he did nothing wrong, why was he killed so cruelly? Mera Bachcha Achcha Tha…” These were the heart-wrenching cries of Anis Awdhiya’s mother, the victim of the horrific Porsche accident in Pune.

Her anguish is palpable, bringing tears to the eyes of anyone who hears her story. The grief that has engulfed the family is immense, and the swift bail given to the accused has only intensified their pain.

Anis’s mother, speaking to a news agency, shared her sorrow, her voice trembling with grief. “My son was in Pune for three years. He was very good. Even though he was away from us, he used to take care of us. On Sunday at 3 o’clock in the night, I got a call from his friends. His friends said, “Aunty call Anis’s father. We want to talk to him. Anis’s accident was serious. Come soon”

How could we go so far… After that, the news of his death came, give me back my son…” Her heart-wrenching plea broke into sobs.

Anis’s father shared the dreams and aspirations his son had. “Anis was working in a multinational company in Pune. He had returned from Dubai before the accident. He was dreaming of going abroad. Anis went to the party as it was a holiday from the office. He was returning home from a party around 2.30 to 3.00 am. At that time he had an accident. His friends called his mother’s mobile phone. At that time we got information about the incident. Anis was dreaming of getting a job abroad. Our family support is gone. Our children suffered.”

Ashwini’s mother, too, shared the unbearable pain of losing her daughter. “Where there is money, there is no action. Justice should be served. Otherwise, we will lose faith in the judiciary. Ashwini was very smart. She got a job during the lockdown. We lost our child due to the mistake of a rich father’s son. Our daughter got punished for someone’s child’s misbehaviour. My innocent daughter must get justice.”

These heart-wrenching cries for justice echo through the streets of Pune, demanding accountability and fairness in a world that seems to favour the privileged. The pain of these families is a stark reminder of the human cost behind every headline, urging society to listen, to care, and to act.
